Ingredients:
- 1 block extra firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 1 cup vegan yogurt
- 2 tablespoons chickpea flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, for cooking
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 tomato, diced
Instructions:
Lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt should all be mixed together in a bowl to make the marinade
Add the tofu cubes to the sauce and make sure each one is well covered
Let it sit for at least 30 minutes
In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat
Dice the tomato, onion, and bell pepper
Cook until it gets soft
Skewer marinated tofu cubes and cooked vegetables one after the other
Put the skewers in the pan and cook them for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until the vegetables are charred and the tofu is golden brown
Warm it up and serve it with your favorite vegan dipping sauce
